Job Description:
Falcon IT is recruiting a hands-on Facilities Technician to support a manufacturing operation. This role maintains building systems, resolves day-to-day facility issues and supports equipment installations and facility improvements in an active production environment.
Requirements:
• Perform maintenance and repairs involving electrical, plumbing, mechanical, drywall and painting work.
• Maintain lighting, electrical distribution, HVAC, doors and other building systems.
• Support manufacturing equipment installations, relocations and infrastructure improvements.
• Assist with commissioning and decommissioning, including electrical, compressed-air and process-water connections.
• Inspect facilities, troubleshoot issues and complete preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate work records and interpret technical drawings, schematics and work orders.
• Follow lockout/tagout, PPE and hazardous-material handling procedures.
• Work closely with manufacturing, engineering and EHS teams.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of hands-on facilities maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial or production setting.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, with the ability to diagnose common problems independently.
• Experience supporting equipment installations, relocations or infrastructure changes on an active production floor.
• Familiarity with industrial safety practices, including LOTO, PPE and hazardous-material handling.
• Ability to read technical drawings, equipment schematics and work orders.
• Clear communication, sound troubleshooting skills and adaptability.
• Ability to lift equipment or materials and work on your feet for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant vocational or trade training.
• Electrician certification.
• Shipping, receiving, warehouse or forklift experience is optional.
Pay: $32–$36 per hour. Candidates with an electrician certificate may be considered for higher compensation, subject to employer approval.
