Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer
West Lafayette, IN 47906 | Full-time | Onsite
Salary: $85,000-$125,000 per year

Falcon IT & Staffing Solutions is seeking an RF Engineer to design, simulate, test and improve tunable RF filters and RF front-end hardware for interference mitigation, including amplifiers and mixers.

Responsibilities
• Design and simulate RF circuits and components.
• Conduct hardware testing and validation using RF laboratory equipment.
• Analyze and optimize gain, noise figure, VSWR, linearity and phase noise.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, firmware developers, project managers and customers from architecture through production.

Qualifications
• 3+ years of hands-on RF engineering, hardware design or wireless communications experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Strong RF/microwave, electromagnetic and transmission-line fundamentals.
• Experience with simulation/design tools such as HFSS, Keysight ADS, Microwave Office and Altium.
• Practical lab experience with network/spectrum analyzers and related equipment.
• Familiarity with Python or MATLAB/Simulink for automated testing and data analysis.

Security Clearance
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. Requirements depend on program assignment.
