Role: Master Tube Bender
Location: Cleburne, TX - Onsite.
 
Job Description:
Hiring an expert tube bender for a production ramp-up.
 
The role requires proven capability with small-diameter tubing in long runs (1 inch or less) and medium-diameter mandrel bends in tubing from 1 to 4 inches. The bender will own setup, dimensional accuracy, quality, and safe execution.
 
What You Will Do:

• Set up and operate tube-bending equipment for small-diameter long-run tubing and medium-diameter mandrel bends.
• Plan bend sequences and select dies, mandrels, clamps, and other tooling appropriate to tube material, diameter, wall thickness, and bend geometry.
• Read drawings, bend schedules, and work instructions; verify material, dimensions, orientation, and required tolerances before production.
• Control springback, ovality, wrinkling, wall thinning, and other common bending variables to achieve the required shape and fit.
• Inspect completed bends and assemblies using suitable measurement methods; document checks and correct process issues before defects move downstream.
• Maintain tooling and equipment, identify wear or setup problems, and coordinate repairs or process adjustments with the team.
• Share practical setup knowledge, support production teammates, and maintain safe and orderly work practices.

What You Bring

• Expert, hands-on tube-bending experience across both small-diameter long runs of one inch or less and medium-diameter mandrel bending from one to four inches.
• Strong understanding of bend radius, springback, tube material and wall behavior, mandrel and die selection, and dimensional control.
• Able to work from engineering drawings, tube layouts, bend schedules, and tolerance requirements.
• Experience inspecting bent tubing for dimensions, angles, orientation, fit, and visible defects.
• Troubleshoot challenging bends and make sound setup or sequence recommendations.
• Quality-focused, safety-minded, and ready to take ownership of work during a production ramp-up.

Consistent bends that meet dimensional and fit requirements across both specified tubing ranges, with safe setups and minimal rework.
