Role: CNC Machinist, Five-Axis.
Location: Cleburne, TX - Onsite.
 
Job Description:
Seeking a skilled five-axis CNC Machinist to support a production ramp-up.

The machinist will set up and operate five-axis equipment, produce accurate parts to drawings and specifications, and take ownership of quality, safe operation, and consistent workflow.
 
What You Will Do:

• Set up, operate, and monitor five-axis CNC machining equipment for production work.
• Read engineering drawings, work instructions, and inspection requirements; confirm the correct material, tooling, setup, and program before machining.
• Load and secure workpieces, select and set tools, establish work offsets, and make approved adjustments to maintain part quality.
• Inspect first pieces and in-process work using appropriate measuring tools; record results and respond to out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Identify tooling wear, setup issues, machine alarms, and process variation; communicate issues promptly and support corrective action.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow machine guarding, PPE, lockout/tagout, and other shop safety requirements.
• Work with programming, engineering, quality, and production teammates to meet schedule and improve repeatability.

What You Bring:

• Strong recent experience setting up and operating five-axis CNC machines in a production or precision-machining environment.
• Able to interpret complex part drawings, GD&T, tolerances, setups, and machining instructions.
• Experience with workholding, tool selection, offsets, probing or workpiece setup, and precision inspection.
• Comfortable using calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gauges, or other relevant inspection equipment.
• Able to troubleshoot machining and setup problems while protecting part quality and equipment.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to take ownership of finished work and production handoffs.

Safe, repeatable five-axis setups; parts that meet print; prompt escalation of quality or equipment risks; and steady contribution to production flow.
