Role: Inventory / Shop / Office Assistant.
Location: League City, TX.
 
Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive, dependable Inventory / Shop / Office Assistant to support daily administrative and warehouse operations.
 
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, stays organized, and is comfortable moving between office tasks and inventory receiving in a shop or warehouse environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Support office operations using Microsoft Excel, email, and electronic document systems.
• Scan, upload, organize, and maintain documents and records.
• Receive incoming inventory shipments, open boxes, and check delivered items against orders.
• Verify item descriptions and quantities, and report discrepancies or missing items.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and help keep materials organized.
• Coordinate with office and shop personnel to support daily operational needs.
• Follow safety procedures while working around forklifts, machinery, and other warehouse equipment.
• Assist with additional office, shop, and inventory tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and email.
• Ability to scan, upload, and organize electronic documents accurately.
• Strong attention to detail when matching shipments to orders and updating records.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to handle varied responsibilities.
• Comfortable working in both an office and an active shop or warehouse.
• Previous inventory, receiving, warehouse, or administrative experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus; operating a forklift is not required for this role.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

• Work is performed in both office and shop or warehouse settings.
• Duties involve opening shipments, handling inventory, and climbing stairs.
• Steel-toe boots are required in the shop or warehouse.
• Must be able to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
