Job Description:
We are seeking a hands-on individual to support maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of industrial drive systems and related mechanical equipment. This individual will work directly in the field supporting customers across commercial and industrial environments.
The ideal candidate has experience troubleshooting VFDs, motors, and industrial controls, and is comfortable working independently on-site while communicating professionally with customers and operations teams.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
Diagnose and repair drive controllers, motors, and related electrical/mechanical systems.
Support installation, startup, and replacement of VFD systems.
Conduct inspections, testing, vibration analysis, and system evaluations.
Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
Read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
Complete service documentation and maintenance reports.
Work directly with customers onsite in commercial and industrial facilities.
Ensure compliance with company and site safety standards.
Qualifications:
Experience with VFDs, motor controls, industrial maintenance, HVAC controls, or automation systems.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting ability.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
Experience working in industrial, commercial, mission-critical, or facility environments preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to client sites.
Technical school, military, union, or industrial maintenance background preferred.
