We are seeking a Senior Capture Manager with deep experience leading large, long-term Federal pursuits focused on software modernization, digital transformation, cloud migration, and enterprise IT modernization.
This role owns the capture lifecycle end-to-end for high-value opportunities ($50M-$100M+ TCV) and requires strong executive presence, strategic thinking, and disciplined execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic capture efforts for large-scale, multi-year Federal software modernization programs ($50M-$100M+ TCV).
- Shape procurements pre-RFP through customer engagement, acquisition influence, and competitive positioning.
- Develop and execute capture plans aligned to legacy modernization, cloud migration, DevSecOps, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Define win themes, teaming strategies, and technical approaches.
- Lead white paper development and early solution positioning.
- Develop documented pricing strategies based on customer intimacy and competitor analysis.
- Gather actionable program intelligence to increase Probability of Win (PWin).
- Lead and control meetings, bringing diverse stakeholders to a consensus.
- Collaborate with recruiting, contracts, pricing, and technical teams to complete capture tasks.
- Manage the opportunity lifecycle from identification through award.
- Support and lead proposal strategy and response efforts.
- Present capture strategies and results to executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional experience, including 8+ years of Federal capture experience within a systems integrator or professional services firm.
- Demonstrated success in capturing and winning large, complex Federal programs.
- Proven track record winning $50M-$100M+ Total Contract Value opportunities.
- Direct experience leading capture for software modernization, cloud migration, DevSecOps, or digital transformation programs.
- Experience leading capture and proposal responses.
- Strong proposal writing and strategy development skills.
- Proven analytical abilities with pricing and competitive strategy experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Leadership skills with a passion for driving team success.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
- Experience presenting capture strategies to executive leadership preferred.
- Demonstrated success growing existing Federal accounts and penetrating new agencies.
- U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
