Calling all manufacturing leaders! Join a thriving, family-owned injection molding company in Longmont, Colorado, as our new Plant Manager.

In this permanent, full-time role with a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $85,000, you'll lead a team of 40+ production employees and drive safe, efficient, high-quality, and profitable operations.

As a key liaison between ownership, operations, and supporting departments, you'll have the opportunity to scale our processes, people, and systems to support our rapid growth.

Lead a team of 40+ production employees and drive continuous improvement across the plant
Champion lean manufacturing, 5S, and other scalable systems to support our growing business
Collaborate cross-functionally to align operations with customer and business needs

Requirements:

Ensure production schedules are met while balancing quality, cost, on-time delivery, and safety.
Drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness, scrap reduction, cycle time optimization, and uptime reliability.
Foster a positive, respectful, and accountable workplace aligned with our family-owned values.
Support new program launches, mold trials, and production transfers.
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and tooling.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in injection molding or plastics.
5+ years of Plant Manager experience in plastic injection molding.
Strong hands-on understanding of injection molding processes, production operations, including molding, tooling, shipping, materials, machinery, presses, and automation.
Experience leading hourly and salaried teams in a production environment.
Proven ability to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on, team-oriented environment.
Experience in a family-owned or entrepreneurial manufacturing environment preferred.
Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
Experience scaling operations in a high-growth environment. Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
Hands-on, visible leadership style.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to balance speed, quality, and discipline.
Clear communicator with shop-floor credibility.
Financial and operational acumen.
Change management and team development skills.
Hands-on experience in processing and set-up.
