Location: Fairfax, Virginia (Remote).

We are seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our team in support of our work with a federal client. We offer competitive compensation and benefits. This position is remote, but may require occasional onsite meetings in DC.
 
 Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of Salesforce.com (SFDC), including complex configuration, customization, and implementation of applications and 3rd party integrations
• Participate in application design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Participate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training, and documentation.
• Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, and bug fixes as needed for the Salesforce.com platform.
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) and maintain updated ticketing for events, incidents, requests, changes, problems, etc.
• Proactively engage in continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts.
• Provide technical assistance and end-user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and "how-to" assistance.

Qualification and Education Requirements:
Required Skills:

• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
• Salesforce Certified App Builder.
• 3+ years of relevant Salesforce experience with Service Cloud.
• 3+ years of experience in Salesforce Development, including declarative development, Custom Objects, Flows, Apex, Triggers, Web Services, Visualforce, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and developing custom Lightning components.
• 3+ years of experience with web technologies (HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, JavaScript).
• 2+ years of experience with OO analysis and design.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience using tools like JIRA, Git, and Subversion.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate key performance indicators to all levels of the company.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.
• Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator.
• Experience working with federal clients is a plus.
