Job Description: Seeking a Forensic Audio-Video Examiner to analyze, authenticate, and enhance video and audio evidence.
This position involves working with advanced tools to ensure the integrity of media, detect synthetic content, and provide expert reporting for intelligence purposes.
Key Qualifications:
Expertise in image/video optimization, authentication, metadata analysis, and geolocation.
Skilled in audio enhancement for speech clarity and evidence integrity.
Proficient with Adobe Suite, AMPED FIVE/Authenticate, and other video/audio forensic tools.
Knowledge of common media formats (AVI, MP4, MOV, MP3, WMA, WMV, WAV) and file structures.
Ability to detect editing or synthetic media using geometric/shadow/reflection analysis.
Understanding of synthetic media and generative AI threats, as well as detection methods.
Strong analytical/report writing skills for courtroom-quality documentation.
Clearance:
TS/SCI with CI Poly (required).
Education/Experience:
BS +8 yrs, MS +6 yrs, PhD +3 yrs; 4 yrs additional relevant experience may substitute for degree.
Preferred:
Signal optimization, photogrammetry, Python/MATLAB scripting.
Familiarity with digital forensics processes.
LEVA Certified Video Technician/Analyst or IAI Forensic Video Examiner.
