Role: Telecom Network Engineer.
Location: 100% Remote. 
 
Job Description:
This position is 100% remote; however, it requires candidates to be on a 24x7 call if there are emergency system breakdowns.
 
Responsibilities:
•  Analyzes and develops telecommunications networks supporting voice, data, video, and wireless services.
•  Develops comprehensive designs and plans for the installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems from project inception through completion.
•  Conducts problem analysis and evaluates the characteristics of information to be transported.
•  Defines network-related problems and develops system requirements and network specifications.
•  Coordinates closely with other information system professionals to ensure seamless implementation of network services.
 
Required Qualifications:
•  Must possess a BS degree in electrical, electronics, or systems engineering, with at least one year of experience in that field.

• Or an Associate degree in electrical, electronics, or systems engineering with at least four years of experience, of which four years must be related to telecommunications systems/networks.

•  DoD Approved 8570/8140 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II.
•  Possess experience in telecommunications network design and management.
•  Demonstrated ability to work independently or with minimal direction on moderately complex requirements.
•  Skilled in analyzing, planning, programming, and implementing network solutions.
•  Experienced in the analysis and design of:

• Voice networks.
• LAN and WAN data networks.
• Wireless networks.
• Network management systems supporting voice and data services.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Secret Clearance.
