Role: Construction Superintendent.
Location: Flagstaff, AZ  (100% onsite).
 
Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned Superintendent with extensive experience in multifamily home construction to support a construction firm specializing in multifamily residential projects.
 
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring that work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to maintain a smooth and efficient construction process.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of multifamily construction projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
• Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on budget, and in accordance with design specifications.
• Manage and direct subcontractors, laborers, and other on-site personnel, ensuring that work is performed according to schedule and quality standards.
• Ensure that all construction work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Review project plans and schedules to ensure that work progresses according to plan and address any delays or issues that arise.
• Coordinate deliveries of materials and equipment, ensuring that the site is well-stocked and that there is no delay in the construction process.
• Monitor and enforce safety practices on the job site, conducting regular safety meetings and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Maintain clear and constant communication with the Project Manager, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders regarding project status, challenges, and updates.
• Conduct regular inspections of the site to ensure high-quality workmanship and that all work is completed to specification.
• Resolve on-site issues or conflicts quickly and efficiently, with a focus on minimizing delays and maintaining project schedules.

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in multifamily home construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and local building codes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Proven experience in overseeing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in construction management software.
• OSHA certification or other relevant safety certifications are preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a construction management degree or related certification is a plus.
