Role: Application Tester (Manual & Automation).
Location: 100% Remote (Preference for NY or NJ residents).
 
Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced Application Tester with a strong background in manual and automation testing for .NET-based applications. This role supports a major long-term initiative with the Department of Education (State Level).
 
The position is fully remote, though candidates based in New York or New Jersey are preferred due to collaboration requirements.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
• Perform hands-on manual testing and develop automation frameworks to validate .NET application functionality.
• Track, document, and manage defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Work closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• 3+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing.
• Solid experience with .NET application environments.
• Proficient in test automation tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and Agile practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Based in New York (NY) or New Jersey (NJ).

• Contract Length: 5 Years
  Projected Start Date: May 2025.
  Client: Department of Education – State of New York.
