Role: Technical Writer.
Location: Ashburn, VA - CBP Office.
Responsibilities:
• Reviewing product artifacts for accuracy, format, spelling, and other issues.
• Creating technical documentation that conveys complex information clearly, concisely, and organized.
• Reviewing program documentation, including management reports, presentations, technical documents, User Guides, and other artifacts.
• Providing minutes for key meetings and calls.
• Organizing and reviewing program artifact repositories (Confluence, SharePoint, Teams) for content, format, and usability.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and end-user resources to develop content.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Visio or other software for creating organizational charts or diagrams.
• Capacity to multitask and complete tasks with minimal oversight.
Requirements:
The following experience and expertise are required:
• A minimum of five (5) years of management consulting experience in the federal sector is required.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience leading IT project technical writing is required.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• CBP clearance (minimum a DHS clearance) is required.
