Role: Federal Sales Representative.
Location: 100% Remote.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Federal Sales Representative to join our team. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates located anywhere in the United States.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales success in the federal market and experience with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and Installation Project Management.
As a Federal Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with federal agencies, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. Your expertise in navigating government procurement processes, understanding CAD-related solutions, and overseeing installation projects will be essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Federal Sales & Business Development:
- Identify, qualify, and pursue sales opportunities within federal agencies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, procurement officers, and federal contractors.
- Leverage existing networks to generate new business opportunities.
- Drive the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
Strategic Account Management:
- Manage and grow existing federal accounts by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of products and services.
- Provide ongoing support to federal clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Proposal & Contract Management:
- Respond to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs by preparing and submitting compelling proposals.
- Work closely with compliance and legal teams to ensure adherence to federal procurement regulations.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions in alignment with company policies and objectives.
Technical Knowledge & Project Oversight:
- Utilize knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) to present solutions tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with Installation Project Management teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven federal sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of federal procurement processes, including GSA schedules, contract vehicles, and government regulations.
- Proof of winning GSA contracts.
- Experience with CAD solutions and the ability to understand, present, and sell related technologies.
- Background in Installation Project Management or experience working with project teams to implement solutions.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying highly motivated and accountable.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with DoD, civilian, or intelligence agencies.
- Familiarity with federal cybersecurity requirements and compliance.
- Understanding of design software, construction, or engineering solutions in government projects.
