Role: Chief Solutions Architect.
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD. (100% onsite).
 
Job Description:
We are seeking a Chief Solutions Architect to develop solution architecture (SA) and resolve complex issues in a variety of projects through the implementation of requirements analysis, expertise support, and project supervision.
 
Responsibilities:

• Design architectural roadmaps for enterprise architecture (EA) in accordance with enterprise strategies and processes, while analyzing Intelligence Community (IC) client requirements and collaborating with R&D divisions to provide ongoing support. Apply advanced theories, principles, and concepts.
• Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts.
• Lead the development of solutions to highly complex problems. Work with a wide latitude for unreviewed action or decision.
• Be responsible for the supervision and development of first-level supervisors or managers.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience managing the development of software systems with a focus on modernization efforts in forward-leaning technology such as cloud, DevSecOps, or MLOps automation platforms, enterprise data, and open-source tech stacks in the DoD, federal government, or commercial entities.
• 5+ years of experience in software development and large-scale Agile, including Scaled Agile Framework.
• Experience in business development, including architecting enterprise systems and aligning them with government evaluation criteria and statements of work.
• Experience with Offensive Cyberspace Operations or Computer Network Operations in support of USCYBERCOM, the Service Cyber Components, or the IC.
• Knowledge of system engineering practices and ITSM.
• Ability to supervise others and lead projects and deliverables within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to work directly with government clients and help translate their goals into technical solutions.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, or CS.

Additional Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with UNIX and Linux, including basic commands and Shell scripting.
• Experience implementing ITSM or IT Operations practices.
• Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.

Clearance: 
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
