Role: Lead IT Compliance Analyst.
Location: Hybrid - Scott AFB, IL.
Job Description:
- Performs a broad range of technical and administrative functions related to the monitoring and reporting of IT system compliance to regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Uses own knowledge and supplied information relative to the program’s technical or administrative aspects to perform technical studies and analyses and prepare inputs to program documentation as it relates to a particular functional area.
- Performs continuous monitoring duties for nearly 50 information technology (IT) systems, operated by the United States Transportation Command and its component commands, to ensure compliance with the Electronic Government Act, Federal Information Security Management Act, Government Performance and Results Act, Clinger-Cohen Act, Privacy Impact Assessments, Electronic Authentication measures, enterprise Public Key Infrastructure and other cryptography issues.
- Daily tasks include creating reports and queries to monitor and enhance data quality, recommending IT policy and guidance, proposing improvements in compliance documentation and monitoring efforts, conducting data calls, and maintaining related instructions, guidance, and handbooks in support of the Chief Information Officer's IT compliance efforts.
- Other tasks involve communicating with individual component points of contact, mission area managers, and program management offices and assisting with the compilation of data required for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Joint Staff.
- Review final documents or data deliverables for completeness and conformity to requirements. Organizes and maintains management files and other data deliverable files. Participates in meetings, design reviews, briefings, etc., relating to the particular support function. Identifies and reports on issues or related problems and potential risks, and recommends risk mitigation actions.
- Works independently under general guidelines set by the overall team lead. Modifies and or adapts techniques and standard approaches to solve moderately difficult problems encountered.
Required Skills/Education: Education: MA/MS in business administration, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related discipline is required.
Four (4) additional years’ experience in lieu of education is acceptable.
Years of Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience within the general military area with specialized experience working in operations, logistics, supply, maintenance, or data processing.
Other applicable functional areas include systems engineering, acquisition management, business process reengineering, specialty engineering (systems safety, quality assurance, test and evaluation, human factors, reliability and maintainability, systems security, etc.) organizational planning, financial management, acquisition logistics, configuration and data information systems and support or program management.
Security Clearance Required: Secret.
