Job Description:
Seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and be a key player in our journey toward cloud-based architecture and agile engineering.

As a Software Engineer I, you will be responsible for designing, documenting, and developing cutting-edge web and cloud-based applications, all while working within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilties:

• Embrace the Future: Transition from traditional DoD software engineering to an OpenShift/Cloud Development, Security, and Operations environment, supporting both our customers and internal initiatives.
• Innovate with Agility: Work within agile processes to deliver fast-paced, high-quality software solutions, both independently and as part of a talented team.
• Elevate the Standard: Strive for excellence in your work, always aiming to exceed expectations and set the bar for the highest level of engineering excellence.

• Provide recommendations and be an expert in establishing an initial DevSecOps environment in an SIL on a RedHat Linux environment, with familiarity with OpenShift.
• Be a key part of a team that is transitioning from legacy software to cloud-based architecture, software, and agile engineering approaches.
• Develop code in accordance with coding and security standards, potentially including compliance with DoD's Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG).
• Work within agile processes for short-cycle, fast-paced delivery both independently and on a team.
• Demonstrate healthy and productive communication and interaction with other team members, management, and our customers.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in software engineering.
• Ability to recommend, configure, and maintain DevSecOps pipeline tools and environments, including OpenShift.
