As a key member of our dynamic Data Science department, you'll have the opportunity to design and implement cutting-edge data architectures, engineer robust data pipelines, and deliver high-impact analytics that drive business success.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and design innovative data services and products.
• Lead the development, testing, and documentation of data extraction, ingestion, transformation, and analytics solutions.
• Mentor and inspire junior members of the Data Science department, setting the standard for excellence.

• Expertise in developing software code in multiple programming languages, including Python, JavaScript, Java, and MATLAB
• Mastery of databases (SQL, NoSQL, Graph) and data architecture (Data Lake, Lakehouse).
• Proficiency in machine learning and AI methodologies.
• Experience with SQL-on-Hadoop technologies, such as Spark SQL, Hive, Impala, and Presto.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and the full software lifecycle.

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, with a PhD/MS in Computer Science, Data Science, or Computer Engineering, or 6+ years with a Bachelor's degree.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively present design documents, technical reports, and presentations.
• Passion for mentoring and nurturing top data engineering talent.
