Role: SEIT Hardware Architect.
Location: Colorado Springs, CO. (With travel to Huntsville, AL).

Job Description:
Imagine being the technical lead responsible for designing and developing the cutting-edge hardware, network, and product selection for a critical national defense program.

As the E2: SEIT Hardware Architect, you'll be a key member of the Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) Resource Management Area, driving the hardware architecture and approval process for this high-profile program.

Your expertise in systems architecting and hardware design will be essential as you work directly with the BOM manager, the Architecture Review Board (ARB), and the Hardware Site Engineering Control Board (HSECB) to ensure the seamless integration of hardware and software across all task orders.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define a common hardware and software baseline.
• Leverage your deep understanding of hardware, networking, and cloud technologies to optimize the program's infrastructure.
• Contribute your exceptional communication skills to clearly present technical approaches and findings to stakeholders. 

• Extensive experience in systems architecting and hardware design, with a proven track record of successful applications.
• Expertise in hardware and networking device selection, procurement processes, and baseline development.
• Familiarity with Private On-Prem Cloud systems, VMWare, HP, Dell, and other COTS products and technologies.
• Ability to identify disconnects between hardware hosts and COTS software, and to support End of Sale/End of Support COA analysis.
• Strong understanding of information assurance, maintenance, operation, and logistics concerns, and their application to the program's requirements, design, and development phases.

• Advanced degree in a relevant technical field, with 12+ years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with 14+ years of experience.
• Proven ability to work effectively and cooperatively with diverse teams, both within and external to the program.
• Familiarity with the C2BMC system and the missile defense domain, as well as hardware maintenance and management approaches.
