Location: Colorado Springs, CO. (With travel to Huntsville, AL.)

Job Description:
Become the MBSE Team Lead at our cutting-edge Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) Resource Management Area (RMA).

As one of five team leadership roles, you'll be the first line of leadership for a talented group of MBSE professionals, reporting directly to the SE Engineering Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact, driving the development and integration of the critical Command & Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) System.

Responsibilities: 

• Empower a high-performing team to deliver innovative MBSE solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure on-time, high-quality results.
• Contribute your technical expertise to elevate the entire organization.
• Maintain accurate metrics and support all team staffing. responsibilities, including interviewing, performance management, and professional development.
• Lead iteration planning and review of technical products to ensure quality.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior systems engineering team members.
• Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to various tasks on short notice.
• Effectively interface with team members, management, and government customers.

• Foundational systems engineering experience, including use case development, requirements solicitation, and structured analysis.
• Proven expertise in MBSE methodologies, such as DoDAF and SysML, with the ability to create logical and physical models.
• Extensive experience transitioning mature projects into MBSE and leveraging tools like Cameo, DOORS, and Agile methods.
