Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance software applications using Java, a powerful and versatile programming language.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of large-scale, distributed systems.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, adapting quickly to new challenges and opportunities.
• Provide in-depth analysis and technical support for a large, distributed system written in Java.
• Perform complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, integration, and user support for a large code baseline.
• Follow specifications to develop or modify functionality within the code.
• Assist with design, benchmark testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Interface with other system support groups to resolve problems, set standards, and improve the overall efficiency of the system.

• Experience in command and control system application development, message translation software, and automated test and pipeline development.
• Familiarity with Java Spring, containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes, and server-side development and message passing.
• Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced, team environment and a strong understanding of software practices and coding standards.
