Location: Colorado Springs, CO. (With travel to Huntsville, AL.)

Job Description:

As a key member of our dynamic team, you'll leverage your exceptional systems engineering expertise to ensure a disciplined approach to the definition, development, and analysis of system capabilities that support our critical defense initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, representing the perspectives of warfighters, operators, and system owners to ensure their needs are at the forefront of our engineering efforts.
• Contribute to the advancement of future BMDS capabilities, including sensor management, tasking, cueing, and discrimination architectures.
• Provide Systems Engineering leadership to drive a disciplined systems engineering approach, from requirements management to system operational concepts.
• Utilize systems engineering tools and documents to analyze, understand, and propose changes to system-level requirements and interfaces.
• Participate in the development, execution, and analysis of software testing in a lab environment, coordinating with various engineering disciplines to resolve system-level issues.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the space defense domain, including operational and technical aspects of engagement management, track management, sensor management, and networks.
• Thrive in an integrated team environment, collaborating with systems, software, and specialty engineers to deliver innovative solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Science, Engineering, or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Possess a Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one prior to starting.
• Proven experience in the systems engineering process and principles, with a strong background in requirements management and Object Oriented requirements definition.
