Job description:
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead IT modernization initiatives for federal government projects.
This role combines technical architecture leadership with proposal development and project management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities: - Design and architect cloud-first IT solutions for federal agencies. - Lead proposal development and capture team efforts for federal IT contracts. - Manage complex IT modernization projects from conception through implementation. - Conduct technical assessments of existing IT systems and infrastructure. - Develop detailed system requirements and technical specifications. - Ensure solutions meet federal security and compliance standards. - Generate and maintain project documentation and status reports. - Guide cross-functional teams through technical implementation.
Required Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience as a Solution Architect developing cloud-first solutions for federal government agencies - Demonstrated success in federal IT proposal writing and capture management. - Deep understanding of FedRAMP and Authority to Operate (ATO) processes. - Experience managing federal IT modernization projects. - Strong knowledge of federal cybersecurity requirements and frameworks. - Expertise in requirements gathering and system assessment methodologies. - Track record of designing and implementing enterprise IT solutions including Cloud migration strategies, System modernization, Digital transformation initiatives, AI/ML integration, CRM implementation, and Enterprise architecture
Required Technical Knowledge: - Cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, etc.). - Federal IT security standards and compliance frameworks. - Enterprise architecture frameworks. - Modern software development methodologies. - Project management tools and methodologies. - System integration patterns and practices. - IT infrastructure and networking.
Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required. - Master's degree preferred. - Technical Writing Skills.
Experience: - Minimum 10 years of IT experience. - Minimum 10 years of federal government IT experience. - Proven track record of winning federal IT contracts. - Demonstrated success managing large-scale IT modernization projects.
Required Qualifications: - PMP Certification. - Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, etc.). - ITIL certification. - Experience with multiple federal agencies. - Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations. - Background in agile methodologies.
