Role: Nuclear Materials Analyst.
Location: Onsite DOE Campus - Germantown, MD. (Greater Washington, DC, MD, VA, DMV area).

Job Description:
Embark on an exciting journey as a Nuclear Materials Analyst. In this contract role, you'll be responsible for leveraging your expertise in data analytics, nuclear facility operations, material control, and exceptional communication skills to contribute to the critical work we do.

Based on our DOE campus in Germantown, Maryland, this position offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the dynamic field of nuclear materials management.

Responsibilities:

• Uncover Insights, Ensure Compliance - Dive deep into nuclear material data, uncovering trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform decision-making and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate Across the DOE/NNSA Complex - Engage with cross-functional teams, federal agencies, and stakeholders to streamline processes, enhance security, and drive innovation in nuclear materials management.
• Contribute to a Safer, More Secure Future - Your work will directly contribute to the safe and secure handling of nuclear materials, ultimately strengthening global nonproliferation efforts.

• Proficiency in data analytics, leveraging tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from complex nuclear material data.
• Hands-on experience in nuclear facility operations, material control, and accountability, or related areas within the DOE/NNSA complex.
• Strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with IAEA safeguards agreements, nonproliferation policies, and relevant data analysis methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and proactively, taking ownership of projects and driving them to successful completion.

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific, engineering, or accounting field.
• 5-10 years of experience in the nuclear materials management industry, with a focus on policy, technical, or operational aspects.
• Possession of a valid security clearance (TS or DOE Q).
