In this contract role, you'll have the opportunity to utilize your public trust clearance and federal experience to guide government agencies through the ATO (Authorization to Operate) process.
Your role will be pivotal in ensuring these agencies meet the necessary security and compliance standards, ultimately contributing to the success of their critical missions.
Standout Responsibilities:
Collaborate with agencies to implement robust governance, risk, and compliance solutions to manage and monitor cybersecurity risks.
Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain risk management strategy, aligning with industry best practices.
Provide oversight and guidance on the remediation of vulnerabilities, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Requirements:
Expertise in developing and implementing anti-counterfeit policies and procedures, along with providing relevant personnel training.
Proficiency in enforcing and evaluating security configuration scans, and assigning resolution of unsecured configurations.
Experience in ensuring security awareness and privacy training are provided to all system users, and tracking their performance.
Ability to develop a cybersecurity workforce assessment plan and conduct assessments to identify skill gaps and training needs.
Familiarity with updating system security plans, policies, and procedures to align with NIST standards and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Extensive experience working with federal government agencies, demonstrating a deep understanding of their unique requirements and processes.
Proven track record in successfully guiding organizations through the ATO process, including ongoing tasks, audits, and POA&M management.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with agency stakeholders and other contractors.
