Job Description:
We are searching for a Network Engineer with expertise in designing and implementing routing, switching, security, wireless, and unified communication technologies in various customer environments.
The Engineer also maintains a solid understanding of modern network management and automation techniques for managing daily operations. The ability to document engineering and operational guidelines for client environments is critical for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
· Create network designs and project plans based on client requirements.
· Implement network designs including installing and configuring hardware and software.
· Create, test, and deploy automation scripts.
· Design, configure, and implement security technologies for clients, including for email, web, cloud, network, and endpoints.
· Responsible for the design and implementation of a modern network. management, capacity, and performance monitoring solutions in addition to troubleshooting and resolving network issues.
· Create complex network diagrams, supporting project documentation, and post-implementation and training documentation for knowledge transfer sessions with customers.
· Utilize effective verbal and written communication to collaborate with, inform, and update vendors and customers in a professional manner.
Required Skills and Experience:
· Experience in enterprise network architecture/design with an emphasis on advanced routing and switching protocols including OSPF, BGP, and OMP.
· Experience utilizing network configuration management tools, traffic, and flow analysis along with implementing infrastructure monitoring tools for capacity reporting.
· Strong experience with cloud technology and cloud network design, primarily Azure and AWS.
· Experience designing and deploying wireless and software-defined solutions.
· Experience designing, configuring, and implementing device, data path, and network virtualization technologies.
· Experience in designing and implementing security solutions including Cisco Secure Firewall, Meraki, Duo, Umbrella, and ASA with Firepower.
· Experience developing, interpreting, and debugging automation scripts using automation technologies including Python and Ansible.
· Experience implementing and integrating federated identity systems, multi-factor authentication, and Active Directory with Azure AD.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate and document complex technical ideas using Visio and other Office applications.
· Excel at troubleshooting and using logical methodologies for problem-solving.
· Ability to prioritize work, and perform work independently and proficiently.
· Ability to collaborate with team members on design and implementation.
· Minimum of 6 years of networking experience preferably in a consulting environment to demonstrate the ability to support multiple industries.
Required Education and Professional Certifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
· Active CCNP – Enterprise (routing/switching) certification - (CCIE Preferred).
· Candidates will be required to complete and pass a technical test and lab as part of the selection process.

· Ability to successfully pass a drug screening and background investigation.
· Willingness to undergo security clearance investigation if determined necessary for contract support.
