Role: Security Engineer.
Location: Hybrid / Washington, DC Area.

Your role as a Security Engineer will be pivotal in guiding the FBI's strategic initiatives. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to blend both in-office and remote work settings, allowing for dynamic collaboration across various projects.

As you step into this crucial position, you will assist in leading customer engagement to capture, define, and understand complex user and security requirements. This will crucially influence the FBI's Zero Trust, Identity Credential Access Management (ICAM), Cybersecurity, Data, and Information Technology strategies.

Envision yourself working in a collaborative environment where innovation meets vigilance, leading efforts to integrate, test, and deploy cross-domain solutions that significantly impact the organization’s security posture.
 
Responsibilities:

• Directly influence FBI’s cross-domain and security maturity strategies.
• Hybrid work structure fostering flexibility and collaboration.
• Lead cross-departmental initiatives to fortify system security.

• Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance capable of obtaining SCI / CI-Poly.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Proactive leadership skills to drive cross-domain security maturity.
• Ability to present strategies to leadership at all levels.
• Strong skills in creating and updating the FBI’s cross-domain strategy, aligning efforts with broader strategic goals.

• Knowledge of SharePoint Administration.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Security Architect with a total of 5 years in Engineering or Architecture.
• Experience with large enterprise security or cross-domain solutions and technologies.
