As a Biomedical Equipment Technician / Equipment Support Specialist—level III at the Sacramento VA Medical Center in Mather, CA, you will ensure the safety and functionality of medical equipment.

• Possessing a two-year associate degree or higher in an applied science or equivalent military training.
• Demonstrated competency to perform verification procedures, maintenance, and repair services on diverse medical equipment.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and ISO standards relevant to medical equipment.
• Familiarity with test equipment setup and application for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical literature, schematics, and drawings.

• Minimum of five years of hospital or healthcare experience in medical equipment maintenance.
• Experience working within a medical center’s Biomedical Engineering department or with the Veterans Health Administration.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship and the ability to obtain federal public trust clearance for this role.
