Job Description:
Are you ready to take the next step in your career as an AFC (Advanced Fire Control) Systems Engineer? We have an immediate opening for a Space Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team and support the next-generation development of our Advanced Fire Control Cell.

As a key member of our team, you will provide technical input and advice to the Program Manager, serving in a Systems Engineering role to ensure the vendor’s satellites meet SDA’s architecture needs.

If you have a strong background in space vehicles and systems engineering, along with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and advisory services on complex space systems integration and test efforts.
• Oversee systems engineering processes, including cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs.
• Support the development of test objectives, plans, schedules, and the execution of the tests, supporting analysis and developing reports.

• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, and math.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with satellite and fire control systems.
• Agile framework experience including use of Jira/Confluence.
• Strong experience in requirements development and tracking.
• Technical and analytic understanding of satellite and ground system interaction.
• Experience in systems engineering.
