Join an exciting role based in Tullamarine and play an important role in establishing a high-performing production operation.

We are looking for Line Attendant / Operator to operate and support high-speed SML cast film production lines safely and efficiently.

About the
Role Working as part of the production team, you will take greater responsibility for line operation, material control, process monitoring, quality checks and production records.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating and supporting SML cast film production lines
• Starting and stopping equipment following training and authorisation
• Managing hoppers, loading systems and production materials
• Changing extrusion filtration screens following training
• Monitoring production processes and product quality
• Conducting quality and film-performance testing
• Recording production, waste, downtime and process events
• Responding to routine machine issues, web breaks and process interruptions
• Maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping and quality
• Supporting and guiding trainee Line Attendants
• Working closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Warehouse teams

About You You will ideally have:

• Manufacturing or production experience
• Experience operating high-speed machinery
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to identify process issues and respond appropriately
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow procedures and accurately complete production records
