Are you a skilled MIG/TIG Welder looking for a long-term opportunity with a leading electrical supplier? We are seeking an experienced welder with a strong background in precision fabrication and intricate welding work to join a busy manufacturing team in Ingleburn.

This position offers initial day shift training at $50.00 per hour before transitioning to a permanent afternoon shift role paying $57.50 per hour within a stable and growing business.

Shift Times

• Training Period: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm - $50ph
• Ongoing Role: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 11:30pm- $57.50ph

About the Role
Working within a production environment, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating electrical components and assemblies to a high standard of quality and accuracy.
Your duties will include:

• MIG and TIG welding of aluminium, galvanised and stainless steel materials
• Sheet metal welding up to 1.2mm thickness
• Welding copper and aluminium conductors up to 6.3mm thickness
• Setting up and clamping jobs using jigs and fixtures
• Preparing materials, including preheating copper components prior to welding
• Reading and following welding procedures and production specifications
• Meeting quality standards and daily production targets

What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven MIG and TIG welding experience
• Experience with fine, detailed and intricate welding applications
• Previous exposure to thin gauge materials and precision fabrication work
• Strong understanding of jigging, setup and clamping techniques
• Experience handling and positioning longer, heavier materials safely
• Knowledge of copper welding and preheating processes
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and follow established procedures
