Our valued client, based in Meadowbrook, Queensland, operates a regional display facility, warehouse and distribution hub supplying commercial ceiling and wall systems.
 
They are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver / Storeperson to join their busy warehouse team.

About the Role
 
This is a hands-on warehouse position, with approximately 70-80% of the role focused on forklift operations and general stores duties.
 
You will play an important role in ensuring products are safely received, stored, picked and dispatched efficiently, while helping maintain a safe, organised and productive warehouse environment.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to safely move, load and unload stock
• Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing deliveries
• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch
• Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock
• Moving, organising and maintaining stock throughout the warehouse
• Assisting with stock control and general stores duties
• Ensuring products are handled, stored and transported safely
• Assisting with manual handling and heavier products when required
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures
• Working collaboratively with the warehouse and operations team
• Ensuring daily warehouse activities are completed efficiently and accurately

About You
 
We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious and physically capable, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to contribute across all areas of warehouse operations.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current forklift licence
• Demonstrated counterbalance forklift experience
• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics or distribution environment
• The ability to safely perform manual handling and some heavy lifting
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• A positive attitude and dependable work ethic
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Full availability Monday to Friday - 7am - 3.30pm
