Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic – $60/hr | Campbellfield

We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics to join a busy workshop in Campbellfield. This is a great opportunity to work with a large modern fleet in a well-maintained workshop, with the potential to move into a permanent position.

What’s on offer

• $60 per hour
• Temporary role with potential for permanent full-time employment
• Monday to Friday
• Shift starts at 5am, 7am or 2pm
• Regular overtime available
• Modern, well-equipped workshop
• Long-term opportunity with a well-established transport company

About the role

• Service and maintain heavy vehicles, trucks and trailers
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
• Carry out preventative maintenance and servicing
• Complete repairs to a high standard
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
• Follow all workplace health and safety requirements

What we’re looking for

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic
• Previous experience working on trucks and trailers
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Reliable and safety-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Welding and fabrication experience is advantageous
