About the Role

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, assembly, installation, and repair of mechanical equipment while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical fitting, assembly, and maintenance tasks
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams
• Adhere to site safety procedures and quality standards

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter qualification
• Proven experience in a Mechanical Fitter role
• Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
• Reliable work ethic and strong attendance record
