Based in Derrimut, this opportunity offers stable, secure employment for an initial 3-4 month assignment, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.

Operate thermoforming machinery to produce food-grade plastic packaging to production and quality specifications.
Set up, start, monitor and adjust thermoforming equipment to ensure efficient production and consistent product quality.
Complete mould/tool changes, product changeovers and machine set-ups safely and efficiently.
Monitor heating, forming, trimming and stacking processes, making adjustments as required.
Identify and respond to machine faults, process variations and quality issues to minimise downtime and waste.
Perform routine quality inspections, including visual and dimensional checks in line with GMP and HACCP standards.
Complete production documentation, quality records and shift handovers accurately.
Carry out basic preventative maintenance, machine cleaning and housekeeping.
Maintain a safe, clean workplace while adhering to GMP, HACCP and workplace health and safety requirements.
Work collaboratively with supervisors, maintenance and production teams to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality and operational performance.
About You
Previous experience operating thermoforming machinery is highly regarded.
Experience within food, plastics, packaging or FMCG manufacturing environments.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot production issues.
Understanding of GMP, HACCP and quality systems.
Commitment to workplace safety and producing quality products.
Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team.
