About the Role As a Collections Officer, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of accounts, working with customers to achieve positive outcomes while maintaining compliance and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of early, mid and late-stage collections
• Negotiate payment arrangements and resolve outstanding accounts
• Conduct skip tracing where required
• Assist with legal escalation and recovery processes
• Maintain accurate file notes and customer records
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Achieve individual KPIs and performance targets
• Deliver professional customer service while maintaining strong collection outcomes

About You To be successful, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience in credit or debt collections
• Collections agency experience highly regarded
• Experience across early, mid and late-stage collections
• Skip tracing experience (desirable)
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume portfolio
• Professional telephone manner
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current Australian working rights
