About the Role We are seeking an experienced Blow Moulding Machine Technician to join a leading manufacturer within the packaging industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded individual with extrusion blow moulding experience to work in a modern manufacturing environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

• Optimise extrusion blow moulding processes to consistently meet production specifications and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Operate, monitor and adjust blow moulding machines, material handling systems and automated packaging equipment.
• Perform minor machine set-up adjustments to maintain optimal production performance.
• Troubleshoot equipment and production issues to maximise machine reliability and minimise downtime.
• Support maintenance and mould change activities to ensure efficient production flow.
• Maintain high standards of product quality while adhering to all safety procedures, including Take5 and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) requirements.
• Work collaboratively with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to achieve production targets.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on Safety, Quality, Productivity and Reliability.
• Report equipment faults, incidents and near misses promptly.

Skills & Experience To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous experience operating and maintaining extrusion blow moulding machinery or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Minimum of one year's experience performing blow moulding machine maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Experience within food manufacturing or other high-quality manufacturing environments is highly regarded.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• No formal qualification required.
• Trade qualification (Mechanical, Fitting & Turning, Maintenance or similar) highly regarded.
• Mechanically minded with hands-on maintenance experience.
