Our client is a leading freight and logistics provider with a strong reputation for delivering warehousing and supply chain solutions across Australia.

An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join their operation based at a 3PL facility in Kingsgrove.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating daily warehouse operations while supporting and developing a team to achieve service, productivity, and inventory accuracy targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support warehouse staff of 3 across receiving, replenishment, picking, packing, container unloading, and dispatch activities.
• Allocate and monitor workflow through the warehouse management system to ensure customer deadlines are achieved.
• Ensure compliance with client SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Train and mentor warehouse team members on operational procedures and warehouse systems.
• Conduct inventory and operational checks to maintain stock accuracy and service levels.
• Assist with resolving stock discrepancies, damaged freight, and operational issues.
• Monitor dispatch accuracy and workflow efficiency to drive continuous improvement.
• Promote a safe, clean, and productive warehouse environment.
• Support warehouse management with staffing, operational reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

About You

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Team Leader, Leading Hand, or Senior Storeperson position within a 3PL, transport, or freight forwarding environment.
• Strong understanding of receiving, replenishment, picking, packing, and dispatch operations.
• Experience using WMS platforms and RF scanning technology.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop warehouse teams.
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift Licence essential.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
