Our client is a well-established International Freight Forwarder and Customs Broker, with offices across Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne.
  
They provide a comprehensive global logistics and transportation platform, supporting a diverse customer base across international markets.
  
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Transport Allocator to join their Melbourne operation, based in Chiping Norton.

About the Role
Working alongside experienced operators, you will be coordinating FCL import and export container movements while supporting day-to-day transport operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating FCL import and export container movements
• Support truck allocation and liaise with drivers
• Manage container slot bookings across wharf and container parks
• Apply container numbers to bookings (training provided)
• Assist with container de-hires via Containerchain
• Maintain accurate updates in the transport management system
• Support fleet coordination and optimisation
• Complete administrative tasks including:
• Driver run sheet checks
• Monitoring tolls, waiting time, and fuel usage
• Provide general operational support as required

About You

• early-career professional in logistics, supply chain, or related field
• Some exposure to transport, warehousing, or logistics environments is advantageous
• Familiarity with 1-Stop or Containerchain is a bonus
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communicator with a team-oriented mindset
• Eager to learn and build a career in the logistics industry
• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Role Details

• Full-time, Monday to Friday
