Seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join a leading food production company.

• Maintain and Optimize Production Machinery - Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of food production equipment, including conveyors, gearboxes, motors, and packaging lines.
• Troubleshoot and Repair Breakdowns - Diagnose and fix mechanical faults quickly and effectively, minimizing downtime and ensuring consistent output.
• Uphold Food Safety Standards - Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation protocols, using food-grade lubricants and approved parts to maintain compliance with industry regulations.

Preferred Requirements

• Expertise in performing breakdowns, fitter, food production machinery, maintenance fitter, preventive maintenance, and repairs
• Proficiency in maintaining and servicing conveyors, gearboxes, motors, bearings, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and filling, sealing, and packaging machinery
• Ability to assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment, as well as work with automated systems and support basic fault-finding
• Commitment to adhering to food safety regulations, maintaining clean work areas, and completing maintenance logs, work orders, and reports
• Passion for continuous improvement, identifying and implementing process enhancements to reduce downtime and support lean manufacturing initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade-qualified as a Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Fitter
• Extensive experience
