Industrial Electrician - Manufacturing
Location: Port of Brisbane, Queensland (Hemmant) Pay: $60-$62 per hour + Super
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00am - 3:00pm (possible 5:00am start) | 9-Day Fortnight
Our client operates a major manufacturing and recycling facility in Hemmant as part of its global packaging network.
The site specialises in plastic recycling and the production of packaging products made from recycled materials, supporting the company's sustainability and circular economy initiatives.
This is an excellent temp-to-permanent opportunity for a skilled Licensed Electrician with experience in manufacturing environments.
 Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical repairs, maintenance, and breakdown response on factory machinery
• Conduct preventative maintenance on production equipment
• Work with PLC systems, including reading PLC programs
• Troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing and production machinery

Requirements:

• Licensed Electrician (Australian electrical licence)
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
• PLC experience (ability to read programs)
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills for industrial equipment
