Device Technician - Electronics Repair & Refurbishment

Bring your electronics repair experience to a growing Product Lifecycle Solutions provider specialising in refurbishment, repair, and device recovery.
We are seeking skilled Bench Technicians to join a fast-paced workshop environment working across a wide range of electronic devices.
�� About the Role
This is a hands-on technical role where you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and refurbishing electronic equipment to a high standard.
You will work across both production and repair workflows, handling devices from initial fault diagnosis through to final testing.
�� Key Responsibilities
- Test, diagnose and repair electronic handheld devices
- Interpret and work from electronic schematic diagrams
- Complete repair records using ERP systems
- Perform device disassembly and reassembly
- Maintain consistent quality and productivity standards
✅ Mandatory Skills & Experience
- Experience reading and interpreting electronic schematics
- Hands-on experience with multimeters and soldering
- Experience using ERP systems for repair/job tracking
- Strong communication skills and reliability (attendance is critical)
- Confidence using hand tools (e.g. electric screwdrivers)
⭐ Highly Regarded
- Component-level troubleshooting and repair experience
- SMT soldering and de-soldering skills
- Familiarity with IPC standards (certification advantageous)
- Experience using oscilloscopes or signal generators
- Background in electromechanical assembly or repair
- 1-2 years' experience repairing small electronic devices

- Onsite Client Interview including;
- Technical interview (including schematic-based questions)
- Practical assessment (soldering + device disassembly test)
�� Qualifications (Desirable, Not Essential)
- Certificate or Diploma in Electronics or Equipment Servicing
