The role:

They are looking for a National Manager to oversee Quality Assurance and Compliance across Higher Education, Vocational Education and Training (VET) and CRICOS within a large and complex education environment. Working across multiple campuses and divisions, this role will ensure compliance standards are met while continuing to drive improvement across the wider organisation.

This role also manages key relationships with regulators, government agencies and industry bodies, so we are looking for someone who is confident operating at both a strategic and hands-on level within a fast-paced environment.

As this is a national role, there is flexibility for this position to be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane or the Gold Coast.

• Lead, mentor and develop the Quality and Compliance team, including two direct reports.
• Ensure ongoing compliance across ESOS, National Code, TEQSA, ASQA, CRICOS, VET Quality Frameworks and all relevant legislation.
• Review and strengthen frameworks, policies and processes to support consistent and high-quality education delivery across both Higher Education and RTO divisions.
• Identify, monitor and report on quality and compliance risks to senior leadership and the Board Audit & Risk Committee.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory audits, reviews and consultations, ensuring the organisation is represented in a clear and professional manner.
• Keep across legislative and regulatory changes, providing guidance on potential business impacts and compliance considerations.

The ideal candidate:

• Strong track record of managing compliance with TEQSA, ASQA and CRICOS frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining standardised best practice compliance frameworks across a Group
• Holds tertiary qualifications in Education, Law, Business or Policy or related discipline
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with regulators, government agencies and key external stakeholders
• Extensive experience within quality assurance, compliance or risk management in the education sector.
