Our commitment to delivering excellence in all our endeavours drives our success. We're now seeking Rope Access and Scaffolding Superintendents to join our dynamic team across various mine sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all scaffold and rope access crews and site activities, ensuring high standards of safety and quality
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other contractors to meet project deadlines
- Inspect completed scaffold structures to ensure they meet engineering specifications and safety standards
- Manage equipment inventory and material procurement
- Mentor and train junior scaffolders, promoting a culture of safety and professionalism
About You: We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working as part of a team, and brings a strong safety-first mindset to everything they do.
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- Previous experience supervising Rope Access teams in mining or heavy industry
- Strong leadership, planning and communication skills
- Section 26 Supervisor qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working at Heights & Confined Space (within 2 years)
- Demonstrated First Attack Firefighting competency (within 4 years)
- Construction White Card
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Valid Australian working rights
- Perth Point of Hire
- Ability to pass pre-employment medicals and ongoing drug & alcohol testing
- Rio Tinto, Roy Hill or FMG site experience and inductions
- Section 26 Supervisor qualification (or willingness to obtain)
