About Shedworks
Shedworks is a family-owned business known for our specialist work installing and maintaining dedicated equipment on poultry and dairy farms.  We focus on the fit-out, building repairs and maintenance of animal shelters, greenhouses and polycarb roof structures. Our business ranges from large new build projects to small repair and maintenance jobs. Shed Works operates throughout New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region, with a concentrated focus on the North Island region. Due to an exciting growth opportunity, Shedworks is currently looking for Installers for our successful business.
 
About the Roles
The key focus of the Installer position is to work as part of the team to assemble and complete scheduled shed installation jobs from start to finish with a reliable, methodical, organised, timely and safe approach.  You will work hands-on with the installations by bolting parts together and assisting with repairs and maintenance work to deliver a consistently high standard.  Responsibilities include;

• Work as part of a team to install the sheds and products as directed by the Team Leader
• Maintain a positive and focussed work ethic while working collaboratively with the team
• Communicate any issues or concerns about the installation to your Foreman/Team Leader promptly and professionally
• Use the safety equipment as directed for each installation

Skills we are looking for -

• Knowledge of or background in building, construction or engineering is essential for this position
• Experience installing feed systems would be an advantage but is not essential
• The ability to learn new skills quickly and confidently
• A methodical and organised approach to work
• A positive manner and proactive, can-do attitude with clear communication skills
• An understanding and demonstration of safe work practices
• The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadline at times
• A full driver’s licence is essential
• A class 2 licence would be desirable but not essential
• Basic welding experience desired but not essential
