About Cambridge Resthaven Community Trust
Cambridge Resthaven is a 100% local community owned Charitable Trust established over fifty years ago, when six community-minded groups fundraised together to build the Cambridge Resthaven rest home for the care of elderly people in Cambridge. Since then, the business has expanded to independent living in four buildings plus rest home, hospital level, dementia and assisted living apartments. Cambridge Resthaven is the only not-for-profit organisation providing a retirement village and aged care in Cambridge.
Their purpose is to help senior members of their community to enjoy the lives that they chose by providing individualised care and support.
It is supported by a dedicated, astute and high performing Trust Board made of community leaders with a range of commercial and governance experience. They have a comprehensive knowledge and connection within the local community and a forward-thinking outlook to meet the changing needs of the community. Driven by core values of Respect, Excellence, Support, Trust and Sustainability, Resthaven provides a family focussed, friendly and warm environment. They have a long serving loyal, valued and committed team of 130. They foster long term relationships with the community and their stakeholders.
