A senior secondary college in Alice Springs is seeking a adaptive generalist secondary teacher to inspire and empower students in Years 10, 11, and 12. You’ll have the opportunity to help students not only enjoy learning but also develop the skills they need for life beyond school. In this role, you'll be part of a college that prioritises flexibility and responsiveness, catering to the unique needs of each student. As a member of a strong educational team, you'll play a key role in creating an inclusive, culturally responsive environment through engaging activities. Using relationship-based teaching and learning methods, you'll help students who have disengaged from mainstream education by working with small groups to reintroduce them to the joy of learning and to equip them with skills for future employment.

This is a full-time position for 2025, with possibility of extending. Primary teachers are encouraged to apply! There is also a Food Technology and Art teacher position available at the school.

The school will provide the following benefits-
- Salary between $92,215 and $131,349
- Relocation to the region from the applicants nearest Australian capital city to Alice Springs. Possibility of relocation from New Zealand.
- Paid accommodation for first 6 months, then option to stay at the accommodation for $250 per week after. One bedroom apartment with pool.

What I need to succeed! To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess and/or demonstrate:
- TRBNT registration and ochre card (or ability to obtain one)
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in education
- The capacity to differentiate and cater for different learning needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good administrative skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with students, colleagues and community
Desirable
- A familiarity with relationship-based teaching and learning
Experienced teachers and graduates will be considered.
