Access Community Health is seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join a dedicated 24/7 team supporting a client with complex spinal care needs in Warkworth.
Multiple morning, afternoon, evening and sleepover shifts are available across weekdays and weekends. Shift lengths vary from 2 to 10 hours, with sleepovers from 11.00pm-7.00am.
This is an opportunity to make a real difference in someone's daily life while developing specialist skills in complex care. Experience in spinal or complex care is preferred, however comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidates.

As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will provide personalised support to help our client live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own home.
- Personal care and daily living support
- Assisting with mobility and transfers
- Following individualised care plans
- Supporting community access and appointments
- Driving a disability-accessible van when required
- Maintaining accurate documentation and communication with the wider care team
- 24/7 roster including sleepovers

Some clients need to require Support Workers who hold a Level 3 or Level 4 Health and Wellbeing qualification to ensure safe and appropriate care. We support equitable recruitment by recognizing transferable experience and, where appropriate, providing training pathways to build and maintain Level 3–4 capability. Support Workers are matched to client needs based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
