We are looking for patient, reliable, and adaptable Support Workers with experience with disabilities such as Autism, Intellectual, Downs Syndrome, & Cerebral Palsy.

In this role, you will support people with disabilities to live with independence, dignity, and choice. 

You will provide safe, respectful, and person-centred support in people’s homes, being mindful of what matters to them, including their culture, values, beliefs, routines, and boundaries.

He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga | About the role 

• Providing respectful, person‑centred support toward those living with disabilities 
• Assisting with community participation, appointments, and social engagement 
• Supporting personal care needs in a professional and dignified manner 
• Maintaining accurate documentation and communicating effectively with the team 
• Promoting a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment 

Whakangungu | Training  

• We provide paid, practical, and online training during the first few weeks of employment.  
• With the bonus of year-round training with regular refreshers and new modules to keep skills up to date.  
• You’ll be supported through structured induction, ongoing training, refreshers, and clear development pathways 

Mōhou Ake | About You  

• Be intuitive, compassionate, and responsive to people's needs 
• Have experience supporting people with intellectual and/or physical disabilities 
• Own a smartphone 
• Hold a Full or Restricted New Zealand driver's licence
